Stacey Longo was born in Connecticut in the ’70s, with two parents that had the audacity to be loving and supportive role models (don’t worry, she was able to successfully create her own angst).

After college, she moved to Block Island, RI, where she eventually began a writing career as a weekly humor columnist for the Block Island Times.

In 2005, she returned to Connecticut where she owns and runs a bookstore to support her writing habit. She and her husband Jason have two cats, Wednesday and Pugsley.
